| Cookie | Purpose | How long |
|---|---|---|
better-auth.session_token | Keeps you signed in to Worsheep. | 30 days, or until you sign out |

On the live site their names start with __Secure-, which tells the browser to send them over HTTPS only. They’re strictly necessary, so they don’t need your consent.
Other browser storage
worsheep.device: A random code for this browser, so a Live leader is told once that you joined, not at every reconnect.worsheep.section-mode,worsheep:set-view: How you like to read: scrolling or one section at a time, and the set view you last chose.- Offline sets (browser cache): Copies of the sets you open, and the app itself, so they still open with no signal.
All of it stays on your device. Clearing your browser’s data removes it.
Videos and tracks in songs
When a song has a video or a track, it shows a player from another service, which follows its own policy:
- YouTube, in its privacy-enhanced mode (youtube-nocookie.com), which avoids cookies until you play the video.
- Spotify, whose player may set its own cookies.
Managing cookies
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. If you block the sign-in cookies, you won’t be able to sign in, but song and set links still open.
